National Association for Able Children (NACE)
Challenge Award
The Challenge Award Self Evaluation Framework provides a standard
by which you can audit, evaluate and plan for continuous whole
school improvement of provision.
The Framework consists of ten Elements which
together describe quality provision. Each Element contains objective
criteria and suggested evidence of what constitutes effective
practice. It not only gives benchmarks but, with the supporting
materials, shows you how to improve.
The Framewwork is being used widely across whole
LEAs and clusters of schools in the UK.
Nationally 35 schools have achieved the Award
and of these 8 are from Croydon
Ashburton Junior School
Fairchildes Primary School
Kingsley Primary School
Whitehorse Manor Junior School
Wolsey Infant School
Haling Manor High School
Norbury Manor B & E College
